Mission Statement
We are an independent, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organisation. Our focus is the preservation of Tibetan Culture in Exile.

We provide Dental and Medical services to Tibetan and Nepali communities.

We hope to attract International attention and support and be able to call on the services of individuals and organisations from around the world.

Dental Objectives
At present there is no dental service for the Tibetan people in Pokhara valley (four Tibetan Refugee camps comprising about 4000 people) or for their Nepali neighbours in the villages of Hyangja and Sarangkot. The dental health of these people is appalling, with consequent medical implications.

We now have the experience of three major dental trips to Nepal, January 2003 - over 450 people treated in eight days, and January 2005 - 750 people treated in eight days. In January 2006 another 710 patients were seen and treated over 12 days.

Services provided were basic restorative (non-amalgam fillings), oral surgery, periodontal treatment and oral hygiene instruction.

We seek to expand our services into general and specialist medical treatments

Funding was provided by Australian organisations and individuals, including generous dental donations from many dental suppliers.

Our dental services are provided equally to Tibetan and Nepali people, free of charge.
